In the past few days I have been reading a masterful literary work by historian Fredrik Logevall titled, “Embers of War”, which attempts to, and let me reiterate- attempts to, provide a comprehensive crash course on the Vietnam War, beginning from the backdrop of WWI. As a history major you acknowledge nothing, no one, is objective nor comprehensive, to suggest such would be ludicrous.
